It's a beautiful February day, the sun is shining, and I'm dreaming of pansies. They're one of my favorite flowers because they have such cheerful faces, and they're tough.
Tough flowers do best under my care.
Since it is February, it's just a bit early for growing pansies, but I'm eagerly watching for them to show up in the garden centers. I suffer from a small addiction to them.
It's really not such a small addiction, now that I think about it. I buy pansies (and violas, I love them too!) by the flat and then look around trying to figure out just where I'm going to plant them all. And I can't really claim to suffer because pansies make me smile every time I walk past them.
While I wait for pansy weather, I'll make do with this pretty teapot and china plate. And some tea, I think maybe Lady Londonderry today. The light lemon strawberry flavor is perfect for spring, and it goes well with these store-bought muffins. They're not as good as home made, but then, I don't have to wait for them either.
I'm sharing today at Bernideen's Tea Time Blog.
What are you waiting for Spring to bring you?
