It's been rather quiet on this blog for awhile, but things have been anything but quiet at my house for the past few weeks.
In addition to this little tea enterprise, my husband and I also raise a herd of Dexter cattle. We're about half way through calving season, and we're back in full swing with the farmers' markets.
I've got new flyers, a new market banner, a whole bunch of new tea flavors (including 2 new Missouri-themed teas that I blended myself!) and renewed energy for the busy summer ahead.
I'll be set up at the Houston Farmers' Market Inc. on Friday mornings from 8-noon, and then at the Marshfield Farmers' Market on Friday afternoons from 3-7pm.
Now for the big news: I'll be selling iced tea, as well as my loose teas and hand made wooden wares from my family's farm at the 17th Annual Spring Planting Festival at Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds in Mansfield, MO on May 7th and 8th.
The forecast is looking promising so far, and the crowd has exceeded 10,000 people over the two-day festival. We've attended as customers for the past 3 years, but this is our first time as vendors, so we're not really sure what to expect.
Please stop by our booth and say hi!
